We'Re BaCK!

We are back in good ole Las Vegas!   We had a great vacation spending 4 days in New York City with our friends Walt and Lexie,  we had so much fun with them and can't wait to travel with them again.  This next time somewhere tropical ;)  Then we were able to spend 3 days in Philadelphia, where Ryan served his mission it was so fund for him to be able to show me some of the sites he was able to visit.

Ryan was able to relive all his glory days of being 21 again and drinking cookies and cream milk, eating ice cream, philly cheesesteak sandwiches and sweet cream pretzels everyday.  Reality is we are not 21 anymore and so good thing we walked miles and miles everyday but we will also be going on a DIET now that we are back home :)  We definitely ate our way through both cities,  and while we had lots of great food I learned the lunch trucks are where its at  I didn't even get any pictures of my philly sandwiches or my chicken gyros because I ate them too fast.

Here is a few of my favorite pictures we snapped on our vacation, I will post more on facebook later.

We really had a great vacation and were glad to be able to spend a whole week together dedicated to one another :) a HUGE thanks to Matt for staying at our house,  we had a little mishap okay a big one our water heater busted and Matt had to get it fixed for us since we were thousands of miles away.  Cost him $450 and thank goodness he had the money so now we just need clean the mess up and pay him back :)

Glad to be back home for a week and then off to Salt Lake to Kristal's wedding and to see my parents.

The LDS hospital gave my dad the go ahead and he is checking in Monday morning at 9am to begin his Melaphan and he is scheduled to receive his good stem cells back on Thursday.  He will not be able to go to the wedding or reception,  he will be in the hospital  just concentrating on his recovery.  We are hoping he will be up for some visitors but not to many we need him to stay healthy and get out of the hospital as soon as possible.

I know everyone has been praying for him but if you can double your efforts this week this is the big day we have been waiting for,  pray for success and for remission :)
