The latest happenings of the Stewart's
1. Ryan has made it his mission to kill a pigeon this year. We are tired of them using our pool cool decking as a bathroom and our pool as a drinking fountain. We went to get a Airsoft gun and the guy at Sports Authority said that wouldn't work, so instead Ryan got a sling shot and has been stalking the pigeons every morning. Let me tell you people, pigeons are nasty and dirty but they are not stupid. The minute the dogs turn around or Ryan goes inside guess what happens...The pigeon's come right back.
I think we will be going back for that airsoft gun soon :)
2. We have had a house guest again. Cute little Dyson :) He belongs to my friend Chelsea and this is the 2 time we have watched him in a few months. He is so fun and cute and gets along great with the girls. He has such a great personality too! He is loving vacation, he is getting chicken and rice in his dinner and because I feel bad because we are at work all day I don't put him in his kennel at night so he is cuddling on the bed with us.
3. Ryan's sister Rachelle and her family came into town last week during their spring break. We were able to spend some time with them having Sunday dinner last week and then being able to go to Famous Dave's to celebrate Rachelle's birthday. Her three kids Ikaika, Kaimana and Noelanie are so fun and so smart! We read books and played lego's and puzzles. Her two year old Noelanie was putting together the puzzles and putting the correct sized blocks. We had so much fun with them and hope to be able to see them again this summer. We wish we lived closer to Ryan's siblings so they could spend more time with us. We could babysit and let their parents go out sometimes. Hopefully someday...
This is not a good picture at all, it is cutting off poor Eric and Rachelles faces and doesn't even show Noelani, but this is what the waitress took and I didn't have my camera :(
4. I invited my brother Matt over for dinner on Sunday to have some steaks and dye Easter Eggs, my parents made it home from being in UT in time to come over also so we made it a family affair (minus Josh who is currently in UT for 6 weeks)
I can't express how much I enjoy family time. This last weekend has been so amazing to be able to spend time with both Ryan and my families and to be able to take a step out of our crazy busy life and just relax and focus on each other. We watched conference all weekend and besides running out to Great Harvest and Star Nursery during the Saturday afternoon break I did not leave my house. It was much needed.
This weekend is another chill weekend of movies, yard work and getting the house and our little family ready for us to be on vacation for a week in Washington DC.
I am so excited! George Washington here I come!
